Niklas is a once in a lifetime dog! The most important aspect to all of us Marc, Judy and I is that Niklas is as happy in the ring as he is laying on the couch hanging out with our other dogs. Niklas has broke many records in Canada and North America - and competed against other wonderful Siberian Huskies and all breed dogs. These are wonderful memories that we will always recall, however to us Niklas being a much loved and cared for member of our family is really more special to us. He has never quit in the ring and gives all of himself to whatever you ask of him.
Niklas needs one more Canadian ALL breed BIS to enter the coveted 100 BIS Club - only 3 other dogs in Canada have achieved this honour - we are thrilled that is he on the way to joining these other amazing animals!
Two of the fondest memories we have of Niklas' career is winning the Breed at Westminster Kennel Club under Mrs. Ann Rogers Clark and winning Best In Show under Mr. RW Taylor at the Inaugural Purina National in 2007 after Niklas not being in the ring for over a year! Judy was there with us to see him win at WKC which was really important to Marc and I. Thanks to Judy for sharing Niklas with us and the North American dog fancy! And to his handler - Colin Brownlee in Canada thank you!
