BISS Ch Kristari’s Jagged Edge, A.K.A. “Jag” was whelped on 3/15/1996. He was the result of an accidental breeding when Chip realized that Winter, newly back from shows, was in season before Sharon did. Sharon felt that he had “presence” from the beginning and she was proved right when Jag hit the show ring. However, like many good dogs, it took him time to mature mentally and physically.

Jag finished his championship in October 1998 by going BOW at the Siberian Husky of Greater Phoenix. Jag started his Specials career in January of 1999. He loved the show ring and his presence in the ring kept him the Top 20 in 1999, 2000, and 2001. In 2001, he finished #4 in Breed points. He was awarded Best in Specialty Show at the Camino Real SHC in 2000 and 2001. As a Veteran at the Lower Columbia SHC in 2005, Jag went Best Veteran and won an AOM.

Jag has always been his own dog. At 10 ½ years old, he still does things his own way and in his own time. Jag has not slowed down and is still a very active dog.

As a sire, Jag has produced seven champions to date with very limited breeding and been awarded Best Stud dog at Specialties. His son, BISS Ch. ANS The American Idol (Mason) has been doing well with back-to-back Group Ones. His grandkids are doing well in the ring and include a BIS grandson. As a sire, he tends to produce strong rears, good toplines and his attitude for the show ring.

Jag continues to be the number one dog at Shadowfox and we look forward to many more years with him.
