Am./Can. Ch. Chrisdon's Distant Thunder ("Boomer") was bred by Christine P. Vroom and was whelped on June 30, 1997. He spent the first two years at home in Michigan finishing his American Championship. When he matured, he went to Canada in 2000 with Jim Harbert and finished the year ranked the #1 Siberian and the #3 Working Dog in the country. Upon returning home to the U.S., he went out with Gretchen Sahloff and was ranked among the Top 10 Siberians in 2002. He won multiple Group Firsts, multiple Specialty Bests, and two Awards of Merit at SHCA National Specialties. He is now co-owned by Chris and Gretchen and he lives with Gretchen. He has sired champions in several countries, a grandsire of at least one Best in Show winner, grandsire of Winner's Dog at the 2007 National as well as the sire of this year's 2007 SHCA National Specialty Best of Breed winner. 

Today, Boomer lives a comfortable life at Gretchen's, with lots of room to run and play and has developed friends and companions of several different breeds, notably Bullmastiffs
